Hello . What Can We Help You With Today?
Note: The information below may not be applicable to all member types. Check with your resort group for specific membership details.
Planning in advance is one of the best ways to get the vacation you want. The earlier you start to plan, the more vacation options you'll have to choose from AND the more likely you are to find what you’re looking for.
The first step is to deposit your vacation week as soon as you know you won’t be returning to your home resort.
You don’t need to know where you want to go or when you want to travel to deposit. Just make sure to deposit from two years to 60 days in advance of the start date of your week.
You can plan your vacation as early as 24 months in advance of travel. The earlier you search, the more Exchange options you're likely to find. Even if the vacation you want isn't available, you can enter an Ongoing Search so The Registry Collection® can continue working on finding a vacation for you.
The below tools are available to help you with your vacation planning:
- Favorites Search: If you generally search for the same type of vacation each time, you can save your desired search criteria as a Favorite Search.
- Ongoing Search: If you can’t find what you’re looking for in your initial search, The Registry Collection will continue to search for you, notifying you when a match is found.
- Clickable Map: When you know the destination you have in mind and just need to find the perfect resort, the clickable map is a great tool to use.
A lot can change in a year or two, which is why Credit Protection can give you the freedom to change or cancel at any time, with no questions asked. When you purchase Credit Protection for your Exchange, you’ll be refunded the full Credit value used to confirm that vacation.
When a 7-night vacation is put on hold, you have until the close of business the following day to either confirm or release the unit. If the vacation is not confirmed, it will be automatically released.
Note: Close of business corresponds with Call Center hours.
To put a 7-night vacation on hold online, log in to your theregistrycollection.com account and follow the steps below:
Step 1: Begin a vacation search by using the search bar or map.
Step 2: Select the resort you want to visit.
Step 3: Locate the unit you wish to book. If your selected vacation has the option to be placed on hold, simply click the "Hold" option. Note: Any check-in date within two weeks will not have the option to be placed on hold.
Step 4: You will be redirected to the payment section where you will be prompted to enter the required information to hold your vacation. Your vacation will be on hold until the close of business the following day. When you are ready to book, you can find your Held vacation on the homepage after you've logged in, or select the “Trips” option at the top of the page, and it will be in the “On Hold” section.
You may be able to purchase Credit Extension. You can purchase Credit Extension for some or all of your Credits for up to one year total, which will save your Credits — giving you more time to book an Exchange vacation so you don’t miss out.
You can also use your Credits to confirm a Last Call℠ Getaways vacation available 29 days or less from the start date of the week.
After you've logged in, make sure to select “All Exchange Options” from the Search block or the Book menu. Even vacations of a Credit value higher than any one of your deposits will be visible, which you may be able to book if you combine enough deposits.
You can view The Registry Collection's eDirectory here..
The Registry Collection works with Trip Advisor so you can read reviews and view photos from guests who have stayed at Registry Collection-affiliated resorts. Writing a review with Trip Advisor is simple — here are some useful tips to help you.
Trip Advisor reviews of Registry Collection-affiliated resorts are written by both members and non-members who have stayed at those resorts. You can filter to see reviews solely submitted by Registry Collection members if you prefer.
Reviews are a great way to discover “insider information” on local places to eat and visit, as well as find out first-hand what it’s like to stay at that resort.
You can help fellow Registry Collection members by submitting your own Trip Advisor reviews of resorts that you’ve been to!
To view your vacation history at any time, simply click on the "Trips" option at the top of the page. Your vacation history will be listed in the "Past" section.
You can see an upcoming vacation front and center on the homepage after logging in. They can also be found in the “Upcoming” section after clicking on the "Trips" option at the top of the page.
A deposit is the vacation week you give to The Registry Collection that enables you to book an Exchange vacation using your Registry Collection membership benefits. It is the first step toward getting on vacation.
On the account dashboard, you will see Credits on your account.
Deposit your week two years to 60 days in advance of the start date of your week.
When you deposit your vacation time with The Registry Collection, it’s assigned a Credit value and held for you (for up to two years). If you don’t use or extend your Credits, you lose the opportunity to vacation against it.
You can purchase a Credit Extension for some or all of your Credits for up to one year total, which will save your Credits — giving you more time to book an Exchange vacation so you don’t miss out.
Booking an Exchange vacation through The Registry Collection is the act of “trading” your deposited vacation ownership week for another week in The Registry Collection system.
When you search for an available Exchange vacation, you will be able to see the Credits needed to book that vacation.
No. In fact, if you book a property with lesser Credit values, you will maintain the balance for future use.
Yes. You can combine Credits from several deposits or multiple years of deposits to increase your Credits and get access to Exchanges you wouldn’t otherwise have had the Credits to complete.
Option 1: Open an Ongoing Search and The Registry Collection will search for you 24/7 and notify you when a match is found. It is the first place newly deposited weeks are matched against, so members on the list get prioritized access to the newly deposited weeks.
Option 2: Adjust your search parameters. It is important to be as flexible as possible when looking for Exchange vacations. Check your dates and resort/region choices and see if altering those brings up additional vacations. Try searching by vacation type instead of by specific destination, and consider smaller units if you're able.
Option 3: Book an Extra Getaways℠ vacation. These are 7-night cash vacations available to you without using your Credits and are often priced lower than what you would pay for a hotel room.
Option 4: Search TRC Travel Service for available hotel options or an extensive collection of luxury cruises.
Credit Protection protects the Credits used toward your vacation. With Credit Protection, if you need to cancel a confirmed Exchange, you’ll receive 100% of your Credits back. Credit Protection must be purchased within 30 days of confirming your vacation as long as the getaway is at least 30 days away or greater. Additionally, Exchange Fees are not refundable except if the cancellation occurs during the 24-hour grace period after vacation confirmation.
Note: Credit Protection is not insurance.
The price for Credit Protection varies based on when you purchase.
Note: Credit Protection is not insurance.
As a Registry Collection member, you can use TRC Travel Service to book travel products and services to suit your needs — a weekend getaway, a business trip, or to complement your vacation. You’ll save time by booking your flights, car rentals, hotels, and more with TRC Travel Service. In addition to saving time, you can also rest assured that you’ll receive the guaranteed best rates.
Not through TRC Travel Service at this time. If you wish to apply your hotel reward number to a reservation, you should do so directly with the hotel, either by calling or at check-in. This is always dependent on the hotel's own policies.
No. Travel offers through TRC Travel Service can’t be combined with third-party coupons or promotional codes.
Yes. While friends and family are unable to call in to access your account, you are able to book travel for your friends and family using your TRC Travel Service account.
With an Ongoing Search, you specify your parameters (such as dates, destinations, and even specific resorts) and The Registry Collection will continue searching for you 24/7. As new inventory becomes available, Ongoing Searches are matched with this new inventory before it is made available on theregistrycollection.com. Once a match is found, you’ll be notified to either confirm the Exchange or release it and continue to search for another option.
If you are searching for a vacation and don’t find what you are looking for, click or tap the option to create an Ongoing Search from your search results or resort details page. Then, fill out the form with your desired criteria and continue to follow the prompts.
Save time and avoid hassles: When you start an Ongoing Search, The Registry Collection does the work for you by searching 24/7 for your Exchange vacation, based on the criteria you enter. There’s no need to keep going back to check for your requested vacation. The Registry Collection will email you monthly with updates on the search progress and notify you as soon as a match is found.
Once you’ve entered an Ongoing Search, you can check its status or make updates by logging on, clicking the “Trips” option at the top of the page, and then clicking on “Ongoing Searches.” Click on the “Modify Search” option on the right to edit your request, where you can change its details or add more criteria. The Registry Collection will let you know if anything is currently available for your modified search, where you can hold or confirm those vacations, or can continue working on finding something else.
Ongoing Search update communications are sent depending on the desired Exchange’s start date, or if a match is found. The Registry Collection will keep you updated on the status of your search via email once a month. As you get closer to your desired vacation start date, you will receive more frequent email updates about the progress of your Ongoing Search. If a match is found, you will be notified that day.
Here are some tips for setting up your Ongoing Search to ensure you get a match for the vacation you really want:
- Request early: As new inventory becomes available, Ongoing Searches are matched with this new inventory before it is made available on theregistrycollection.com. So, requesting early offers a better chance of being matched with your dream vacation!
- Search by activity/experience: Think about the vacation experience rather than the destination. To increase potential matches, use the search filters online to choose what you like to do, rather than just searching by a specific location.
- Search by occupancy versus unit size: Consider unit sizes that match the number of people traveling, not necessarily the unit you own.
- Be flexible with dates: If your schedule is flexible, consider additional travel dates or less highly demanded times of year.
An all-inclusive resort is a resort that typically includes a variety of services and amenities, including meals, drinks, and resort activities, in the price of the stay. Many resorts also offer all-inclusive packages, where you pay a set amount per stay which includes various amenities such as meals, drinks, resort activities, etc.
Yes, your membership offers you access to a variety of all-inclusive resorts perfect for fun family getaways and romantic couples-only escapes. While they’re in many parts of the world, the majority are located in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
To check out the current Registry Collection-affiliated resorts that offer all-inclusive experiences, please start here.
All-inclusive packages vary by resort, as each resort offers its own unique services and amenities. However, many all-inclusive resort packages offer the following:
- All meals and snacks: Generous buffets, full-service restaurants, à la carte dining, snack bars, and more.
- Unlimited beverages: Many even include alcohol.
- Resort activities: Pools, beaches, snorkeling, windsurfing boards, etc.
- Hotel transfers: Included transportation can vary, so check with The Registry Collection or the resort for details.

To search for all-inclusive resorts, expand the “Vacation” filter and select the “All-Inclusive Available” option.
An Extra Getaways vacation gives you access to The Registry Collection’s resort inventory without having to Exchange your Credits or deposit your Week. You can purchase a week (seven nights) at the available destination of your choice. You can book Extra Getaways vacations regardless of whether you have Credits remaining in your account.
The Registry Collection incurs costs in processing and confirming each vacation exchange request. Additional costs are incurred to cancel an Exchange. The following applies when canceling a Last Call Getaway or Extra Getaways vacation:
*When cancellation is made within the grace period (by the end of the business day following the date confirmed as long as this is 21 days or more before the start date), you will receive a refund equal to the full purchase price.
*When a cancellation is made after the grace period, you will receive a refund less the current transaction fee that's included in the overall cost of the vacation.
Please note any sales tax collected will automatically be refunded in full any time a cancellation occurs.
If you must cancel a Last Call Getaways or Extra Getaways vacation confirmation, please contact a Reservation Consultant at 1-800-338-7777 for assistance.
Last Call Getaways are last-minute, weeklong getaways that are available to confirm within 29 days of check-in. These vacations are available for just half the published Credit requirement, regardless of unit size, season, or destination.

Reservation Consultants are available during business hours to answer any questions you may have and help you with any and all of your vacation planning needs. But there are some subtle differences in what a Reservation Consultant can help you with — depending on the channel you use to contact them:
- Phone — Consultants can help you with anything over the phone, including holding and booking vacations, as well as any and all transactions.
- Chat — Reservation Consultants through Live Help can help you with anything a Call Center consultant can assist you with! They can help with account-related questions, planning and confirming vacations, certain web issues you may be experiencing, and overall membership questions. They can also take credit card information to process payments, and in the occasion of a website error, they can place a vacation on hold.
- Email — Same parameters as Chat.
If you are a Vacation Club member who has contacted The Registry Collection for an issue, you will be directed to your respective Club's customer service.
The option to connect with a Reservation Consultant will appear periodically while browsing theregistrycollection.com. A box allowing you to click for Live Help can be found on the right side of the page you are reviewing. All you need to do is click it to be connected with a Reservation Consultant.

The Registry Collection uses comment cards to determine award levels for the Resort Recognition Program, Credits, and to assist resorts in assessing the need for quality improvements.
From your search results, select the "More" filter to see expanded search options, and then select “Pets Allowed” from the list of Amenities.
This will show you pet-friendly resorts. However, as these resorts change all the time, it's a good idea to call the resort directly to confirm.
