Making an Exchange reservation is simple but does require searching for your perfect getaway. As you begin your search, you may run across a few questions.

You’ll find common questions and answers below, but don’t hesitate to contact your Reservation Consultant. They will assist you with every step of the reservation process and are available to answer questions about deposits, Credits, and reservations. How can I ensure I’m seeing all available resorts when searching?

After you've logged in, make sure to select “All Exchange Options” from the Search block or the Book menu. Even vacations of a Credit value higher than any one of your deposits will be visible, which you may be able to book if you combine enough deposits.

What options do I have if an Exchange is not immediately available?

Option 1: Open an Ongoing Search. Simply indicate your desired travel dates, locations, and size of accommodations, and your request will be placed on a waiting list where an automated, round-the-clock search for your selections will be initiated for up to 60 days in advance of the vacation start date. If your selection becomes available, a Reservation Consultant will call you with the details and you will have 24 hours to confirm the vacation. The waitlist is the first place newly deposited weeks are matched against, so members on the list get prioritized access to the newly deposited weeks.

Option 2: Adjust your search parameters. It is important to be as flexible as possible when looking for Exchange vacations. Check your dates and resort/region choices and see if altering those brings up additional vacations. Try searching by vacation type instead of by specific destination, and consider smaller units if you're able.

Option 3: Book an Extra Getaways℠ vacation. These are 7-night cash vacations available to you without using your Credits and are often priced lower than what you would pay for a hotel room.

Option 4: Search TRC Travel Service for available hotel options or an extensive collection of luxury cruises.

How do I increase the likelihood of exchanging through The Registry Collection program? 

Depositing your Interval and submitting your vacation request as early as possible, having flexibility in terms of travel dates and alternative locations, and being open to a variety of travel experiences help to increase the likelihood that you will find an Exchange.
